About us

NUAA-International Flying Academy (hereinafter to be referred as IFA) is a joint venture corporation jointly established and invested by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics(hereinafter NUAA), AVIC International Holding Corporation(hereinafter AVIC Intl) and Test Flying Academy of South Africa(hereinafter TFASA).
IFA is registered in Nanjing City, JiangSu Province. The registration capital is 20 million RMB and the future investment plan is 400 million RMB.
It is a recognized and government accredited professional flight training service provider offering full time commercial courses from ab-initial training through to comprehensive commercial airline structured ATPL programs. We cater for Chinese and International students with courses of PPL, CPL and ATPL theoretical training on both fixed-wing aircrafts and helicopters.
IFA is has a big advantage in human resource. We employ the highest standard instructors and professional managers in aviation training industry. The theoretical training covers not only fully dimensioned aeronautical knowledge and basic operation lectures by teachers in NUAA but practical experience and operational skills by highly experienced instructors who are also pilots in South Africa.
IFA consists of and will operate in two bases, of which one is in Xu Zhou of China and the other is in the so-called “Garden City” Oudtshoorn, which is located on the coastal line of southern part of SA.
The international training part called CFS under TFASA has helped hundreds of student pilots from many European and Asian countries meet their flight training goals and objectives for over 30 years with only 2 small injury record, which is a miracle in aviation training history and actually based on the highly strict and sophisticated training management rules.
The domestic part is just located in Xuzhou Airport and also several other auxiliary airports for cross-country training ,which are also in JiangSu Province. Xu Zhou airport is an international airport with several regular airlines per week so IFA is almost an exclusive user of the run way, which is of the capacity for large-size aircraft as big as Boeing series to land on. In the near future, the domestic training base will also be used as a helicopter training center.
With an expert consulting team and a professional operating team, IFA is committed to establishing a quasi-military, professional, international training organization.
